As Ever Ellis’s digital strategist, I was responsible for updating and optimizing the Magento website content as well as images, PLP’s, PDP’s, product attributes, price cart rules and written copy. I monitored Google My Business, Google Analytics, and Search Console to better understand how users find and interact with our site. My team added a 20% off incentive for newsletter subscribers and automated the account approval process to eliminate friction and increase conversions. I also added images and other category adjustments to enhance the user experience.


Homepage Slider

I created images for our homepage slider in Photoshop announcing promotions, new arrivals, and popular collections. The look of these change per season based on the aesthetic of the newest collection and lifestyle photography.

Product Listing Pages

The website’s PLP’s needed some adjustments to enhance the user experience. I added lifestyle image headers so that users could easily distinguish between categories or collections. Using Photoshop actions, I created composite images for over 100 pre-packs that originally were listed with placeholder images.

New Customer Automation

Customers must be approved with a business license to create an account and view pricing. Before I stepped into this role, new accounts were entered by hand, emailed new customer forms individually, and then verified one by one. This system wasn’t fast or reliable enough to efficiently onboard new customers. I implemented a new system: customers create an account, place their order, and then must verify their business license and forms before we ship their order. Customers are now automatically sent the new customer kit upon account creation and able to fill out the forms immediately. This greatly reduced friction and helped increase our conversions.

Lead Collection + Mailchimp Integration

In an effort to increase the number of first time orders on our website, my team decided to offer 20% off to users who sign up to our newsletter via an embedded Mailchimp form. Not only does this offer increase the likelihood that they will make a purchase, but it also allows us to add warm leads to our mailing list.

Google Analytics + Google My Business

By managing our Google My Business profile and monitoring Google Analytics and Search Console, I was able to develop a better understanding of what keywords are relevant to our site, how users interact with our site, and the different ways they find the brand.
